Welcome to Faversham Judo Club

Faversham Judo Club is a non-profit making family-oriented organisation run and staffed totally by volunteers.

We welcome all players 6 years and over, from novice to the elite. The club boasts no fewer than 8 qualified instructors from 1st Kyu to 6th Dan

Judo has it's origins in Japan and was brought to the UK in the 1940s. Originally a martial art it has developed into a dynamic sport and was included into the Tokyo Olympic games in 1964.

Club members can progress steadily through the various grade levels with the advice and support of our instructors.

For those who wish to fight competitively, the club offers the opportunity and coaching support to attend both local and national events.

The club runs many social events throughout the year such as The Summer Swimming Pool Party & Barbecue, sponsored walk and its Annual Presentation Night Disco.

We hope this easy to use web site will help you to discover all you need to know about Faversham Judo Club.
